10 Years of Real Support: The Story Behind Dynamic Ability Support

A message from our Director, Russ.

In 2016, Dynamic Ability Support began in Newcastle with a simple belief: support should feel real.

From the beginning, the goal was to break the stereotype of what disability support looked like. Instead, the focus was on real connections built around people’s passions for gaming, music, fitness, art and everyday life.

Because every moment has potential. When those moments are supported well, they can lead to incredible outcomes.

Over the past 10 years, Dynamic Ability Support has had the privilege of being part of many journeys across our community.

These include first jobs, new friendships, first homes and the confidence for people to pursue the things that matter to them.

Today, Dynamic Ability Support supports more than 200 people and their families across Newcastle, providing personalised disability support that helps people build independence and meaningful connections.

Real Connections. Real Support. Real Choices. For Life.

To celebrate our 10 year milestone, we are sharing 10 Stories for 10 Years, highlighting real stories of success from people in our community.

This blog marks the first of those stories. Stay tuned for more.
